Thank you for making April 2017 such a success! We were able to raise over $10,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
We are gearing up for our April 2018:
Under the Sea,
Scrapping for a Cure Retreat.
Our 2018 retreat has already hit the 'half full' mark and on our way to see a full crop! Thank you for making this event such a joy to plan and host.
Scrapping for a Cure has grown so much over the 9 years we have hosted it. Starting out as a small retreat of 20 croppers in Town Creek, AL raising $2000-$3000 for CFF, Scrapping for a Cure has turned into an amazing retreat of 70+ participants in Memphis, TN raising over $10,000 for CFF each year! Wow, what a transformation!
This year we will be offering a couple of new options.
Scrapbook Resale:
This year we will be hosting our first 'Scrappy Sale' on Friday April 13th, 2018 during our retreat. Tables for the sale will be displayed in the crop room for easy shopping. If this is very popular, we may have additional sale tables in the main hall. Only registered participants will have the opportunity to reserve a table for the sale and can secure their table through Rachael McGuire. The cost of your table is minimal ($5-$15) and participants get to keep all profit. Participants can email scrapping4acure@gmail.com to get full details and reserve a table.
Shopping at the Retreat:
Last year we had to say goodbye to our Goody Bag store. Many participants took advantage of amazing discounts as we clearanced out our store. All money raised from the store was donated to CFF. Items not purchased by our participants were donated to a local children's hospital. This year we will have fully stocked vendors that will insure our scrapbooking needs are met as we crop the weekend away. We will be featuring our vendors soon so you will have a chance to learn about them and their product. Our vendors will also be offering free make and takes again this year. Sign up for this will be held closer to time.
Can't wait to see you in the spring!
If you are joining us for the first time, be prepared for a weekend of fun, friends, and full of crafting!!
